This is Year 4 of our Alzheimer’s journey. (In retrospect we can recall signs that go back further.)

Bobbie and I celebrated our 58th wedding anniversary recently; we are as much in love (actually more) than ever. She has done so much for me. It is my privilege to do more now. Our five children and their families (including seven grandchildren) have given us great love and help. Our youngest child Dana continues to be my Alzheimer’s Walk companion and teammate.

We do not feel sad, but instead blessed in many ways. We are more fortunate than many families. The care we receive is special, and we are surrounded by people who love us.

Dana and I reach out for other families and for research. Some day there will be a cure, and you can help toward that.
