In order to honor my mom, I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Alzheimer's effects so many families in our neighborhood, community, state, nation and the world.  

Mom and I chose to be a part of the solution to help researchers better understand this complex disease by becoming part of the research on Alzheimer's at Shands.  We donated out brains to better understand how this disease works once we pass.
