Haz’s Hero’s Alzheimer’s journey continues.  Sadly, Hazel lost her battle last September and we miss her Every. Single. Day.  While I said goodbye to her body that day in September, I really slowly lost Mom over the 10 or so years she struggled with Alzheimer’s disease-first not being able to find a word here or there, to losing the ability to read her beloved books, to eventually not recognizing me.  Alzheimer’s didn’t just affect Mom; it affected all who loved her. So, in memory of her fighting spirit, Haz’s Heros will continue to fight the battle to find the first survivor!

Please join me in this fight!  We will be participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s on October 15th in Manassas, VA.  You can join us in person, or walk remotely wherever you may be at no cost, but any donation would be appreciated! (If you join the team and donate or fundraise $100, you get a really cool shirt!). Our goal this year is to have at least 20 team members (from all over!) and raise $5000 or more. Thank you!!
