Alzheimer's is the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States today and the only cause of death among the top 10 that cannot be prevented, cured or even slowed. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.

Caring for those with Alzheimer's is an integral part of the work we do at Brooke Grove Retirement Village (BGRV), where we see the devastating effects of this disease on a daily basis. My Aunt Lillian was one of its victims, and many of my coworkers have loved ones with Alzheimer's as well.

By serving as a co-captain for BGRV's 2022 Walk to End Alzheimer's campaign, I'm committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer research, care and support.
