This year I am even more involved with the Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter. I am now on the Walk to End Alzheimer's - Greater Hartford planning committee and will be getting certified to become a Support Group Facilitator to help caregivers of those with Dementia.
As you know, if you know me, we have many loved ones who are fighting or have lost to this terrible disease. I walk to raise awareness about the impact this disease has on all of us and to raise funds for research so that one day we will have a cure.
If you’d like to join me, the walk is really fun, mild exercise and a chance to hang out with friends. We’d love to have you on our team.
I walk in memory of Bisnonoo Lombardi, Grandpa King, Gramps Drescher, and Bob Hutchins and in honor of Susie Hutchins.
Who will you walk for? (There are over 600 walks nation-wide. If you can’t join us in Hartford, ask me how to get a team started near you.)
Thank you for helping advance Alzheimer's support, care and research.
