Dear Cisco Team & Friends,
In December 2019 my adored mother Bibi (Abigail) passed away. Although the cause of her death at almost 91 was not related to Alzheimer's, and she never developed memory loss - an amazing Miracle, she was diagnosed with the disease in her early 80's. Her life changed and for 10 years my family and I lived with the fear that the disease would start to advance at any time, but we trusted her care to the most amazing physician. Still, the fight is just starting.
I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 14 million by 2050. In the World, almost 50 million people (2019) carry the disease. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Support our Nevada Cisco Team for the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®, the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
Among other victories in this battle, we are already seeing concrete results from the generosity of our donors with the historic announcement of Aducanumab, the first FDA approved drug to potentially change the progression of Alzheimer's, not just the symptoms.

Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
Grateful Yours, Rossana Bertani (Cisco Systems – Reno/NV, US)
