I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this terrifying disease, so that you and I, our friends and family, don't have to suffer in the future. It's a scary and cruel disease. Everytime I look into my aunt's eyes, I fear that she suffering silently without a voice to tell me that she is. If you have seen that old movie, The Serpent and the Rainbow, it is like that.
All I have now are memories. Our Mother's Day golf, and Christmas Eve at her house, every year, which she always made special. As not just my aunt but also my realtor, we spent hours together shopping for homes. I probably drug her to 100 homes in my lifetime. Her pet name for me was, "brat", pretty spot on. LOL. I miss her, even though she is still here.
