My father, Robert Blank, was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimers. Unfortunately, my family and I are already too familiar with this terrible disease. My Grandfather, Austin Bridges, also had early onset Alzheimers. During my undergrad years I did my best to visit and be there for my Grandma Ann during the most difficult time of the disease. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. Because of my Grandfather I am all too familiar with what me, and my family, will face. We are still early on and I pray every day for a cure for not only my father but all the others out there suffering or soon to suffer. Please join me in supporting this cause to end this terrible disease.
Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association® to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us now more than ever — and with your help, we can be there for them. Please make a donation or register as a participant and start your own fundraising. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
Thank you!
