I'm participating (virtually) in the 2021 Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's® this weekend with my granddaughter, Kristina Meno. Kristina and I have participated in this walk every year since my mother's diagnosis. Unfortunately, Alzheimer's took its toll on my mother and she passed on April 7, 2020.
My mother was one of more than 5 million Americans who have suffered from Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease. You are invited to make a donation to advance the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
