For the 2022 Walk to End Alzheimer's, I am honoring my Mom, Jean; my Dad, Homer; and Joe's Dad, Robert W, Dahman.  Mom and Dad were and are still a real presence in my life and not a day goes by that I don't think of them and what today may be like with them if they had not passed as a result of Alzheimer's/Dementia.  Joe' Dad passed when he was 17 also as a result of Alzheimer's.

We both understand the pain of "The Long Goodbye".

The Alzheimer’s Association vision is “A World Without Alzheimer’s and All Other Dementia®”.  With your “Walk to End Alzheimer’s” support, we can provide care/comfort/support to those living with Alzheimer’s and all other dementia as well as their care providers, friends and family; support and fund research to accelerate the global progress of new treatments, prevention and, ultimately, cures; and advocate for public policies that increase and fund critical federal and state support and programs for all those affected as well as advocate for critical governmental research funding.

Please join me in changing the trajectory of Alzheimer’s and All Other Dementia so that you and yours won’t ever experience the “long goodbye.”

Thank you for your support,
