It is hard to believe that my brother Eric passed away over 2 years ago. There have been so many things that have happened since then where I have said, “I wish I could call my brother”. Although we disagreed on certain things, it was always him that I wanted to laugh with or chat or argue with about my everyday life. His last year of life was challenging for him but also for his family and friends. I am hoping to become part of the solution in helping to find a cure or treatment of this awful disease. I am hoping to raise money to support this possibility.
Alzheimer‘s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association® to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us now more than ever — and with your help, we can be there for them. Please make a donation or register as a participant and start your own fundraising. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
Thank you for helping advance Alzheimer's support, care and research.
