This awful disease has affected our family personally. My dad has spent the last few years donating his time to a brain study. His reasoning was that if it could one day find a cure for people in the future that’s what he wanted to be a part of. This is a small example of how my dad always wants to give back to others even knowing it may not help himself. <3
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
