It has been over 4 years since I lost my Dad to this awful disease.  As I go through pictures, I am reminded of how fortunate I am to have such a great Dad.  He was such an inspiration of all things good. This year, 2 good friends lost their mothers to Alzheimer's and dementia, my neighbor lost his sister and a dear friend continues her personal battle.  Strides have been made to try and understand this disease, but Alzheimer's  for the most part, still remains a mystery as to prevention, a cause and a treatment.  That is why Barry and I, for the 15th year, will participate in our local Walk to End Alzheimer's.  We hope that we can count on your support, so together we can END ALZHEIMER'S.
