Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association® to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
As you know, my dad suffered with Alzheimer’s until his passing from the disease October 9, 2021. A year ago my niece started our family team. Mom and I decided we wanted to help in two ways: first, we both celebrate our birthdays in October Mom on the 20th and me on the 21st. So we’re asking our family and friends to donate towards my goal in the upcoming walk on October 22nd to celebrate our birthdays and help this worthy cause. Mom passed May 5, 2022 so will not be here to see the results. But she would be so honored to know folks are helping. Secondly, I’ll be walking in memory of my dad who suffered with Alzheimer’s and in memory of mom who lovingly cared for dad during it all.
Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us now more than ever — and with your help, we can be there for them. Please make a donation or register as a participant and start your own fundraising. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
Thank you for helping advance Alzheimer's support, care and research.
