to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. In Honor of:
I don't think we could have asked for greater role models than our parents Ken and Pat Wing.
Our parents were born and raised in La Crosse, WI and have been involved in the community most of their lives. My dad especially had always gone out of his way to help those when he could whether it is with his time or his money. His greatest love was his family. He has 6 children, 26 grandchildren and at least 20 great grandchildren. He taught wood tech at WTC for 34 years and was in the Army reserves for over 30 years. He was the 2001 Torchlight parade Marshall and loves being a part of Oktoberfest. He lived in the house that he was born in for 80 years. Unfortunately dad passed away from Alzheimer's September 4, 2019.
Mom is one of those people that loves to help in the home. She would cook meals to feed an army even if it was only 4 people. You never went hungry at the Wing houseshold. She would welcome all the kids in the neighborhood and more! She took care of everyone like they were her own children.
Our parents have touched many, many people's lives. Dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2016 and mom has been suffering from Dementia for years. It is so devastating to see people who were so full of life, so bright and strong, be destroyed by this horrible disease.
If our parents have affected you in any way, we ask that you donate, or walk with us! Let's help find a cure!!
