The Alzheimer’s Association is again having a fund raising walk to help raise money for research for the end of Alzheimer’s. Some progress was made this year for the first time in decades. Some day this terrible disease will be conquered! Last year, you were so generous in donating over $7,000 for the Walk. I hope we can surpass that amount this year, and also join me on the walk in Port Washington along Lake Michigan. The walk is a lot of fun. Sue is doing as well as can be expected. Thank you for your support.
This year, Alzheimer's isn't stopping, and neither are we. On October 2, we will be back in-person at Veteran's Memorial Park Bandshell in Port Washington to walk 2 miles to celebrate the potential end of Alzheimer's. This year you are encouraged to make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association through my team, Sue's Supporters, and walk either with us either in-person or wherever you're comfortable in celebration of the potential end to Alzheimer's.
Currently there are over 6 million people in the U.S. with Alzheimer's. This number is expected to grow to 16 million by 2050. More money is needed for research to fight this terrible problem.
Thank you again for considering a donation to this worthy cause. Peter Hitler
