On May 17th, 2008 our beautiful Mother and Grandmother Jean Lee Homiak Passed away from Alzheimer's. Unfortunately she had to go to a Nursing Facility because at night she would wake up, grab her little change purse with nickels in it and walk out the door in her robe.
My Father and I would go visit her, feed her, and take care of her. My Father went to see her every day after he got off work and always on his days off 2-3 times a day. He truly loved her. When she passed away he lost his identity. It's an awful disease. For many years she didn't know who we were. I miss her terribly every day. We desperately need a cure. We are walking in honor of her memory. My Father recently went to be with the love of his life, my Mother, Jean Lee Homiak. Please Donate in her honor and for a much needed cause. I would truly appreciate it.
More than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease. Recently my memory has become very bad and it terrifies me. I fear I have the Alzheimer’s gene. We desperately need a cure.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. Please make a donation in honor of my Mother.
Thank you for donating in honor of My Mother and all the others who suffer from Alzheimer's!
Thank you so much for your donation!
