Support my team, JJ's Journey for the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®, the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
Dementia has touched my family multiple times, starting with my Dad's mom, Grandma Sally, her daughter Aunt Rose and now my beautiful father JJ. My pops, his sister and their parents are holocaust survivors, three of the four survivors experience (d) Dementia, all victims of this terrible disease! Due to Covid and other unprecedented events, my Dad left sunny Laguna Beach, CA and is temporarily living with us in Seattle. As his caregiver, I have a front row seat to the impacts of dementia. My late mother taught our family it's better to laugh than cry, it's a motto we try to live by.
For those local in Seattle, SAVE THE DATE to join our walk on October 2nd!! More details to come.
Thanks! Sandy, JJ and family
