I am walking in honor of my mom Mary Jean and my sister Mary, my "M&M's", both of whom had dementia. I am walking to give support to those living with the disease, caring for people with the disease, and/or lost someone. I was raised to care about others and I care about the more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and the over 16 million family caregivers, as I am one . And the numbers are continuing to climb. Our future, and the future of our loved ones is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
