Watching our Dad as he navigates his new world with Alzeheimer's has been both devastating and uplifting for our family. Seeing a vibrant energetic man slowly lose his bearings has been difficult to watch, but hearing his vivid stories of his childhood coupled with his immense gratitude and joy of life has helped bring ease during the hard times.
Dad has so much love and pride for his family and friends. He has been there for so many people and feels lucky to be a part of such a warm and giving community. Karen, Jennifer and I would like to honor him and others who have battled dementia in all its forms.
Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. Please support us as we prepare for the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, we're raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association® to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
Families like ours facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us now more than ever — and with your help, we can be there for them. Please make a donation. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
