I will be participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's on October 2, 2021. This Walk will be on Main Street, Gloucester, Courthouse, Virginia as part of the Middle Peninsula/Northern Neck Route 17 area.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
I am walking for my husband, with Parkinson's Dementia, Carl Snyder who is in long term care with Alzheimer's and Nancy Barone who has just been diagnosed and is worsening. This disease truly devastates families and leaves its victims with no identities.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to ADVANCE THE CARE, SUPPORT AND RESEARCH EFFORTS of the Alzheimer's Association. Every dollar helps. Give what you can afford.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's! N.A.R.F.E. (National Active and Retired Federal Employees) has been a great support to this cause and still is.
Thank you for helping advance Alzheimer's support, care and research.
