Since 2009, I have been participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. I personally witnessed the effects of this horrible disease when my father-in-law was afflicted. His memory digressed throughout the years before the disease ultimately took his life last fall. My wife and I participate in his memory and we pray that others may be spared from this experience.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Collectively, we can strive to change the course of this disease that impacts so many families.
Through our efforts, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please consider making a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. Also consider supporting the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Our local walk in Katy, Texas is being held on September 28, 2019 at LaCenterra shopping center.
