One of the saddest realizations in a person's life is knowing they have been forgotten. Every day in our community spouses and partners, sons and daughters, grandchildren and siblings fear the moment when their loved one's memories will be gone. According to the Alzheimer’s Association, there are nearly six million people living in the United States with this disease and that number is expected to nearly triple by 2050. This is a possibility we should not forget.
On October 2, 2021, the McAfee Memory Keepers will walk…
in support of the people living with Alzheimer’s disease and their families
in memory of people who have died as a result of Alzheimer’s disease and their surviving family members and friends
in recognition of the dedicated volunteers, caregivers, and medical professionals in the fight to end Alzheimer’s disease
We will carry flowers and proudly take each step for you!
At Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, we recognize the vital need to raise awareness of this disease and funding to support medical research.
Please don’t forget to make this important donation and remember even the smallest amount may help to keep future memories alive!
