I am an Advocate, Ambassador and Educator of Alzheimer's Disease and related Dementia. This is something that I have always held near and dear to my heart. It's an unfair disease that could affect ANYONE. 

We lost our Sweet Grandma due to the progressive complications of this horrible disease.  Please understand,  this is no longer considered an Old Person's disease...people as young as early 20's (although rare) have been diagnosed.  This is why I am so passionate about raising awareness and educating each other because until a cure is found, it will continue to increase in numbers.

 I ask you to join our walk to End Alzheimer's Saturday Oct 19th at Barnet Park. You too may have had a loved one pass with Alzheimers...please know that it doesn't end there...it could affect you, me or anyone. I often hear "my parent does not have Alzheimer's they have Dementia..

Dementia is the symptoms NOT the disease.
