Alzheimer’s disease is relentless. So are we.
Citizens Bank colleague Rob LeBlanc leads Team Citizens into its fourth year of participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's® - the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research! For a disease that currently affects more than 78,000 Rhode Islanders (24,000 diagnosed and their 54,000 caregivers), this is a great opportunity for us to show our care and support to our community.
To register for this event, please click the 'JOIN OUR TEAM' button. Please note: there is no registration fee to join, and fundraising is not required to participate. For those choosing to participate in person, the walking route length is 3.5 miles, though a 1.0 mile option is also available. The course is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Family, friends and leashed pets are also welcome! For those choosing to participate virtually, instructions will be provided separately on how to walk individually or in smaller groups within your own neighborhood and/or community.
Reminder: Colleagues are prohibited from soliciting one another for financial donations, nor should solicit any others utilizing Citizens technology or on behalf of Citizens. This volunteer event has been approved by the Giving Portal Administrator.
