We've have been inspired by so many Superheroes over the past year; healthcare workers, first responders, caregivers and all those who went to work to help others despite the risks. We lost one of our Superheroes, our dear Uncle Victor, who was always willing to help others. Recently we gathered to celebrate his amazing life, filled with love for family, friends and food.
How lucky we were to have had Uncle Victor in our lives, along with our other Superheroes who provide a wonderful example of how to care for each other!
We are walking at Fort Adams Park in Newport, RI on Saturday, September 25th to honor those we have lost, those who are struggling, and their amazing caregivers.
All Association programs (education, support groups, program and outreach, etc) are free and the Walk is the number one fundraiser to support these vital services. Please consider making a donation if you are able, to help advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association once again this year.
Thank you for helping us continue to fight against Alzheimer's disease and all other dementias.
All our love,
Nicki & Joe
