My Grandmother Lou Ella Machin has done nothing but love our family for my entire life. Alzheimer's became real to me when my Grandma Lou started to deteriorate mentally years ago. Seeing someone you love and who loves you back struggle with memory loss is challenging and strains your emotional fortitude.
I joined the Wilmington Alzheimer's Association in the Delaware Valley Chapter to help rid lives of this disease. I wanted to take action that could help my grandma and many others who walk this difficult path together.
In 2020 Lou Ella passed away and will be missed by our entire family... She had excellent care and loving family all around her until she moved on. Every year I walk for my grandmother and all those who deal with this disease.
PLEASE help us by DONATING AND SPREADING AWARENESS of our organizations efforts to end Alzheimer's BEFORE OUR WALK ON OCTOBER 23rd.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
