Dear Family & Dear Friends,
I come to you once again asking for your support as I participate in Toledo's 2021 Walk to End Alzheimer's.
My "Mu" passed away from Alzheimer's back in 2002. So affected by her daily struggles with this disease, I find myself participating in Walks for 31 years. The suffering and heartache endured by my dear "Mu" and all the family who loved her cannot be put into words.
Besides research, Walks throughout the country raise monies spent on Alzheimer’s care, support and education. Toward those goals, I have been actively raising funds for the Alzheimer's Association by participating in 3 Walks to End Alzheimer's annually -- in Toledo, Detroit & Ann Arbor.
Last year, regarding my involvement in Walks to End Alzheimer's, my letter to you declared, "I am NOT tired!!!" But, this year I say "I AM TIRED!!!"
Together let's celebrate the FIRST SURVIVOR of ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE!
If you are able to support my efforts with a donation you may do so on this page -- OR -- you may send me a check made out to the Alzheimer's Association. If you choose to support other causes or are unable to financially support my fund raising efforts, thoughts & prayers are appreciated as well.
I thank each of you for your time and continued support.
All my love to you,
Donna (aka Mommy aka Aunt Donna aka H.B.A.D. aka Aunt Big D)
