Thank you to all of our friends, family, and coworkers who have supported us throughout the years. Because of you we are one step closer to finding a cure. As many of you know, in 2015, Team Anna Mae lost two of our most loved and cherished people, Domenick and Anna Vastano. They were parents, grandparents, great grandparents, and friends to many. Team Anna Mae walks every year to not only find a cure but to spare future generations from living through this terrible disease.
This year things look a little different. In order to abide by social distancing guidelines and keep everyone safe, the association decided to make the walk virtual. So on Sunday September 27, 2020 get your steps in by walking anywhere - track, trail, or even the beach! You can still join the walk festivities by going to the North Babylon, NY walk site to see the opening and promise garden ceremony at 10am (https://act.alz.org/site/TR?sid=23932&type=fr_informational&pg=informational&fr_id=13634).
Just because we cannot walk together this year does not mean our mission to End Alzheimer's disease is forgotten. So in order to make this another successful year please donate! In addition, Team Anna Mae would love to see your Walk to End Alzheimer's pride! Please send a picture of you in a purple (walk) shirt or holding an Alzheimer's flower to either myself or my mother, Carolyn Capulong.
If you have any questions, please reach out to me or my mother. Thank you for your endless support!
Your Team Captain,
We walk for those who can't. In loving memory of Anna Vastano & Tommy "Tippy"
