I participate in Walk to support over 5 million Americans currently fighting Alzheimer's Disease. At this time, I have no personal connection to the disease but understand the devastating effects Alzheimer's can have, not only on people living with the disease, but their loved ones as well.
When I think about why I fight, I think of my wife Stephanie, and our year old son Lavitz. I think of all the amazing memories my wife and I have together and the future memories we will have with Lavitz. Alzheimer's disease has the ability to take those memories away. Finding a cure for this disease is extremely important, not just for those currently living with Alzheimer's, but for everyone who cherishes their memories! Alzheimer's disease does not discriminate and can affect any one of us.
I walk to honor all those that have passed away in the fight against Alzheimer's disease and challenge you to make a donation to advance the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
