We are the King Walkers in honor of W. B. King who passed away on January 30, 2016 from Alzheimer's. Daddy/Grandpa had been diagnosed with this horrible disease for over 16 years. He entered a drug treatment program to help find a cure. The drug helped to slow the disease but could not stop it. That cure has not come yet but we walk to help find a cure!
We walk to help the people who have this disease and for the families that take care of Alzheimer patients. This disease takes it toll on every family member involved! The patient forgets and the family never forgets!
We hope as we walk that Daddy is looking down very proud and he is helping guide those with the knowledge to find the cure.
Please help us raise money and awareness for this disease. A cure is out there!
Reclaim the future for millions! Join our team for the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®, the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds to fight Alzheimer's disease.
