I'm Walking to End Walk to End Alzheimer’s with my boys, Daniel, Connor, Chandler, & Dakota in remembrance of our Grandma McIlwain & Grandma Jennings. They were both wonderful women who had dementia a form of Alzheimer's. Grandma Mcilwain had the best spirit and laughed in a way that made a ripple causing the whole room to laugh until they cry. Grandma Jennings had a heart of gold sharing her life stories and teaching us kindness & God's Grace with her songs and reading books to her grandchildren.
This disease is an awful thing for anyone to go through. Especially for family members, its scary to watch a loved ones slip away and become confused/helpless with just the simple day to day things. Come join me to Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, and help me raise funds as well as awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association® to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us now more than ever — and with your help, we can be there for them. Please make a donation or register as a participant and start your own fundraising. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
Thank you for helping advance Alzheimer's support, care and research.
