Mom passed away on January 11, 2018 from complications of Frontotemporal Dementia. Five years ago, on January 10, 2016, we lost Rick's dad, Dick, to Alzheimer's. We get through each day telling ourselves they were not going to get better, only worse, as there is no known cure, or treatment to slow the process, of dementia and Alzheimer's. We need to find a cure for Alzheimer's and all forms of dementia.
We are committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research, care and support.
We need your support to do our part! Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
Our team goal this year is $2000. This will be the team's 8th year participating in the Twin Cities' Walk to End Alzheimer's. Together we can, and will, find a cure!
The end of Alzheimer's disease starts with you and me.
