My mom and mother-in-law are both living with Alzheimer’s. The moms are wonderful ladies. They were always there for their families, and now we there for them.
My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2013, although the signs were there for some time. My mother in law was diagnosed in 2016. The moms eventually moved in with us for 5 and 2 years, respectively. Last year they moved into memory care.
Alzheimers is a confusing, and frustrating disease. I am passionate to help those living with Alzheimer’s to live their best life and to one day find a cure for the disease
I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
