I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. I am walking to honor my Dad. And, to support the caregivers who have helped families and friends when those with memory loss are so isolated. They are true heroes. Alzheimer’s has no zip code. It’s doesn’t care about race, ethnicity, or socio economic status. We need to find a cure!
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease. New research shows that your can reduce your risk by 20% if you keep your top blood pressure number at 120 or below. Sleep, diet, exercise and even medicine can get you there!
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
