Our Mom started showing subtle signs of the disease at least 10 years before she died. Somehow, she knew something was wrong and had decided to make changes in her life to help keep her safe. She stopped all of her normal activities- volunteering, driving, sold her condo and moved to a senior apartment. That change was too much. Shortly after, we as a family had decided it was necessary to move her to an Alzheimer's facility, where she rapidly declined . We miss her every day.
The end of Alzheimer's disease starts with all of us. Please make a donation to honor our Mom, Ethel Furuli .
