My beautiful friend is suffering from FTD, for almost 4 years and there is no cure for her. She is 43 in June. Needs 24/7 care, and her parents are her sole caregivers. She is non verbal and has lost the gleam in her eyes. It is beyond heartbreaking.
There are so many forms under the giant umbrella of Alzheimer's
I am here to do anything possible to help find a cure or some hope for all the families out there struggling with losing their loved ones.
One grandpa was still jolly and loving with this disease. The other one is struggling so much right now and this awful disease is robbing him of the man he once was. Watching families suffer along with their loved ones is so hard. Even worse when it is someone you yourself love so much.
Thank you for continuing in helping me reach my goal year after year. One of these years instead of a walk I am hoping for dancing in the streets instead when we find a HUGE breakthrough.
