This is not something easy for me to be writing or to be trying to cope through, but we just found out that our mom and best friend has middle stage Alzheimer's disease so this is extremely personal for my family and I. My mom has always been selfless and willing to help anyone in need or bake just because she knew it would bring that person happiness. This journey is just beginning for us and it is scary but we are trying to make the best of it and appreciate all the time we are given to enjoy her beautiful soul.
I ask that you please consider walking, sharing or donating to help us raise money for those living with this disease, their caregivers and for continued research to find a cure for this painful disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
