I am walking for my mom, Linda, who I have been watching slowly fade into the sunset for the past six years. I have been saying goodbye to her very slowly. Some days I can appreciate just sitting with her, holding her hand and experiencing the simple pleasure of her smiling back at me. Some days the tears just come when she struggles to find words, has fear in her eyes or asks me who I am. She is an amazing lady who loved her family and was always there to care for others and lend a helping hand. I walk for her and for others who I hope they can find a cure for. Love you mom!
