Our Goal

We're walking in 2021 — and we invite you to join us.

The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's® is full of flowers, each carried by someone committed to ending this disease. Because like flowers, our participants don't stop when something's in their way. They keep raising funds and awareness for a breakthrough in the fight against Alzheimer's and all other dementia.

Walk to End Alzheimer's is happening — and you can join us at your local event or Walk From Home in your neighborhood. No matter where you participate, know that your health and safety are our top priorities. All local events will implement safety protocols including physical distancing, contactless registration, hand sanitizing stations and more. Per CDC guidelines around crowded outdoor settings, we ask that all Walk attendees be vaccinated against COVID-19 or wear a mask when in an overcrowded area. Masks will be available on-site.

We will continue to closely monitor CDC, state and local guidelines to ensure Walk events adhere to recommendations and are safe for attendees. If you prefer to Walk From Home, you can still engage in many Walk-day experiences through our mobile app.

Walk Location: Lynn Family Stadium

  • Walk will be inside the stadium. Parking is available in the Purple Lot.
  • Enter Gate 6 for the Walk Route. You will walk the concourse beginning at the balloon arch and exit gate 4 to plant your flower in the Promise Garden in front of the Our City sign and re-enter the stadium at gate 5. 
  • You may walk the concourse as many times as you would like.

Champions: Individual participants that have raised $500+ are consider Champions. You will see a designated area in the Purple Lot and can enter the Fifth Third Club. Your name must be on the list for you to enter the Champions Club.

Event schedule:
Gates and Walk route open at 9:00a.m.
To avoid crowding along the route, participants and teams may begin walking at any time.

Promise Garden Ceremony at 9:45a.m.

Walk Day FAQ:
• All participants should register prior to Walk day at alz.org/walk.
• All children must be registered.
• Strollers, wheelchairs and wagons are welcome. Per the stadium requirements, no pets allowed.
• The Walk route and festivities are outdoors — please plan accordingly.
• Donations will be taken on Walk day via mobile payment and cash/check drop box.
• Be sure to wear your purple and carry your Walk flags! Take a selfie or photo of your team and post on social media using #Walk2EndALZ and #ENDALZ.
Walk from anywhere.
If you prefer, we welcome you to Walk From Home. You can engage in many Walk day experiences through our mobile app:
• Watch a prerecorded Opening and Promise Garden Ceremony.
• Visit the Promise Garden and select a flower representing your connection to the disease and plant it among the others.
• Review the route map to track your at-home Walk, including start and finish lines through the augmented reality platform.
