I am sure that many of you know someone, are related to someone or is a friend of someone that has lost a loved one that had Dementia or Alzheimer's. I am honoring my Grandma Eva "Maggie" Kliethermes, who we lost to this disease. I was saddened to see how this disease impacted her and our family as she started to decline. I have also witnessed many others distraught over the impact this disease has had on their loved ones.
There are more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 14 million by 2050. This is why I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
If we all give a little to this cause, together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
