In 2016, I participated in the Columbus Walk to End Alzheimer's. At the time, my family and I walked in honor of my grandmothers, Sadako Davern & Margaret Koehler, and my wife's grandmother and aunt, Lari Aslan and Wendy Kurttila, all which were diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.

Since participating in this event, we have unfortunately lost all those we walked to honor. My Grandma Davern and Chelsey's Grandma Lari passed away in 2016, weeks before the Walk. The following August, I lost my Grandma Koehler. Most recently, Chelsey's Aunt Wendy passed away in 2019 from Younger Onset Alzheimer's.

These beautiful women have inspired our families to support the Alzheimer's Association in the search for the first survivor of this dreadful disease. I thank you in advance for your donation and support. Together, we can #ENDALZ
