I lost my mom slowly and then suddenly over 10 years. The disease relentlessly eroded her cognitive ability and then suddenly took her mobility and speech. I am so grateful for the outstanding care she has received from so many incredible memory care staff, but the world cannot tolerate nor afford long-term reactive care for ALZ victims. The world needs and deserves preventative measures and treatments that work. So...
