My amazing mom was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's in late 2012/early 2013. My sister and I participated in our first walk - the 2013 Walk to End Alzheimer's and my goal ever since has been to grow our team and donations in hopes that one day we will truly END ALZ!
2021 will be my 9th Walk to End Alzheimer's. I am so thankful for the many awesome people I have met over the years. There are amazing staff, advocates, caregivers, and volunteers around this great state and we all are working toward the ultimate goal of ending Alzheimer's!
Did you know that someone develops Alzheimer's Disease every 65 SECONDS in the United States? WOW!
I'm walking to help reclaim the future for millions. By participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's, I'm committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer's research, care and support.
I need your support to do my part! Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into prevention, treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
Thank you for joining our movement! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts here.
