This fall, I and the rest of Sigma Kappa are participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's. Currently, more than 5 million Americans are affected by Alzheimer's, and those numbers are expected to grow to as many as 14 million in the next 30 years. Of those individuals, my grandmother, Sharon Atherton, is currently living with Alzheimer's. She is my inspiration for participating in this event, and I hope to honor her, and everyone else who has been touched by this tragic illness. The money being raised benefits those affected by this disease in your own community, each and every dollar counts, in regards to striving towards an Alzheimer's free world.
Donations of any size are greatly appreciated in creating awareness and support for this cause, thank you so much for joining me in the fight against Alzheimer's! Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers in support of my grandmother.
Thank you for helping advance Alzheimer's support, care and research.
