"There won't be a cure in dad's lifetime, but we're going to make sure there is one in ours." This has been our mantra since dad was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia at age 57.
2020 has been a tough year for families facing Alzheimer's and organizations funding research and support. Nursing homes across the country have had to make the difficult decision to close their doors to families, in our case since March 11. Support group meetings have been cancelled, research dollars are coming in slowly.
Time are tough, so I'm asking you for $5! If just 22% of my Facebook Friends give $5, we'll be $1,000 closer to finding a cure in our lifetime.
