Greetings - That was Mom's way of saying hello so I am going to take a page from her book and use it also.
The world still does not seem normal, and maybe “normal” as we knew it is gone forever. Times are still very hard for so many people and reaching out asking people to consider giving to Alzheimer’s is not an easy decision.
However, Dementia stands wickedly strong, unchanged, and relentless, taking the lives of people we love every day. For our family, it robbed our Mom of her last twenty years and took her from us day by day.
So, we must remain firm and relentless, refusing to allow circumstances to weaken our resolve to End Alzheimer's.
I look back, and my heart is filled with tears by all you have done to join in this fight with me.
Some lead through our West Georgia Walk to End Alzheimer's Committee, volunteer on walk day, sponsorship, bring friends and family, participate in our Walk, and donate critical funds needed for Dementia support, research for the prevention, and ultimately a cure.
Join us in our West Georgia Walk to End Alzheimer's on October 16, 2021, at 9 am.
We again want to thank each of you for how you have touched our family's lives and appreciate the encouragement you have always given our Mom and us.
We believe in a world without Alzheimer's, and with your help, that belief can become a reality.
With thanks, love, and appreciation,
All Moms' kids - Lynn, Tim, Lisa, and Trish
