It has been a number of years since my Mother’s passing the morning of Mother’s Day. I still grieve over the loss of who she was and in her honor I found this simple but beautiful poem which captures how much she meant to me and our family.
If roses grow in heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mother’s arms
and tell her they’re from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there is an ache within my heart
that will never go away.
I am asking all my friends, associates and those who are dealing with this disease to help me raise funds to End the World of Alzheimer’s and other disorders associated with Alzheimer’s.
Thank you for helping advance Alzheimer's support, care and research.
