Sigma Kappa Lamba Theta and Sigma Kappa Lambda Zeta at the 2016 Tampa Walk to End Alzheimer's! Sigma Kappa sisters are committed to finding a cure and ending Alzheimer's Disease for good as it is a major epidemic in the United States. Both Tampa based chapters were colonized within the past three years and at the 2017 Walk combined to raise over $25,000 for the Alzheimer's Association!
Alzheimer’s disease is a growing epidemic with someone in the United States developing it every 66 seconds and is the nation’s sixth-leading cause of death. This is why Sigma Kappa is committed to putting an end to Alzheimer’s by raising funds and awareness towards the national Alzheimer’s Association for research to find a cure. Together, we can advance research to treat and prevent Alzheimer's, and provide programs and support to improve the lives of millions of affected Americans.
