When I said goodbye to my mom nearly eleven years ago, I made a decision. I would devote a part of the rest of my life to helping people like her. Families like ours. She was an incredibly kind caring person who was the heart and soul of our family. The best way I know how to do that is to help the Alzheimer’s Association. They stand ready to help anyone who is experiencing Alzheimer’s and their family and caregivers. They fund research and fight for funds for research so that we can find treatments and one day a cure. Alzheimer’s is not an incurable disease, it is a disease for which we have not yet found a cure. Please, if you can, help us find that cure so that one day we can live in a world without Alzheimer’s. Thank you.
I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
